Video Promotions has just been engaged by Worldwide Parking Group to maintain a visual record of the construction process of part of the Auckland Airport domestic carpark over approximately 8 weeks.

The resulting footage had to be suitable for streaming from a website as well as incorporating into full-screen video for presentation and marketing purposes from CD-R and laptop.The primary audience for this video will be potential clients along with anyone who requires an overview of this type of project, WPGs first in New Zealand.

To give an eye-catching overview of the project from day one we?ve installed a high-quality, colour security camera mounted on a 7m pole atop one of the PortaComs on site. This feeds to a time-lapse VHS VCR inside the cabin, set to record one frame every 60'sec. When edited and compressed in time to only around 30 seconds, with a daily counter superimposed over it resulting video clip will offer a unique and concise overview of the speed with which the Group can undertake this type of project.

As we're visiting the site weekly to change tapes (purely to reduce the chance of onsite data being lost), we're also recording limited DVCAM footage of close-up areas of construction to supplement the time-lapse footage or be archived for any future marketing projects.
